What happened at INTERPHEX 2018 – Our round-up

Fresh from our trip to INTERPHEX, we’ve taken some time to give our round-up of the technologies on show and preview what excellent new products are launching within the next few months.

Why do we visit INTERPHEX?
Even before the show began, whilst at dinner in New York, we were reminded why we were at the show.

For us, the annual pilgrimage to INTERPHEX is about ensuring we continue to deliver our customers the best solutions available, within the market.

Working to deliver custom solutions
When it comes to customisation we work with market leaders who are willing to listen to the requirements of the customer.

Whether its passing through cleanroom walls, isolators or processing into bottles or bags, we have a solution to suit.

We spent some time with SaniSure and Advantapure who had an excellent display of products which have been specially created with the customer in mind.

Scaling up – Single-Use doesn’t have to be limited by size

With ABEC showing off their impressive 4,000L Single-Use Bioreactor, what better time for our supply partner CPC to be showcasing an extension to the market leading AseptiQuik range, with the launch of their 1” Aseptic Connector.

As always CPC continue to be driven by valuable customer feedback, this newest addition to the range, allows for true sterile connections in high-volume production environments.

As the scales in single-use continue to increase, our partners are staying ahead of the curve, to supply the components needed for all areas of the processes.

Tube sealers and tube welders
Our partner for tube sealing and welding, Vante, were exhibiting the fantastic tube sealer launched last year. The sealer has had a good reception from our customers, with a good volume of units being sold in the past 12 months.

Also on the stand was their latest project – a new Tube Welder, the welder which is currently undergoing continued development work and validation, looks to be launched soon. We’re looking forward to seeing improvements on what was already a fantastic machine.
